FWIW, I have the same problem with one of my Wiimotes and Spongebob CFTKK (Yeah, I know, but the kidlets enjoy the game). Unplug and replug the nunchuck and it works just fine. :confused:

B

A) Does the problem reoccur, and
B) Don't the kidlets get really pissed off when this happens at a crucial moment? (Maybe the kidlets are more mature than I am. :D )

My iPad 1 always seemed to automatically connect to my MyWi network from my iPhone 4, but my iPad 2 does not. I have to go into Settings and manually connect.... Is there a fix for this?

Thanks for responding to my devil's advocacy. How things tend to work around here is that any ideas like this get batted around out here, perhaps discussed amongst mods and admins... and if they pass muster, then added to the list of things to do. Some of these things can take months or even years to even reappear in some form.

Personally, I'm not sure that this idea will be given much priority, but that's just a hunch based on previous experience as I have no say in this process. Saying that, it would also certainly generate an interesting amount of data for those who like stats and graphs as well.

I would have to vote for Sufjan Stevens' five Christmas EPs. But besides those EPs, I have no Christmas albums. I do sometimes download a single Christmas song, though. I now have fifty. Of those, my favourites are Fairytale Of New York by the Pogues, Little Drummer Boy by Tori Amos, Christmas Party by The Walkmen, Christmas In America by Melissa Etheridge and Mery Christmas Darling by The Carpenters. All I Want For Christmas by Daffy Duck is pretty awesome as well.

If someone is up to trying something different this is a theme that I've been working on for the past year and a half off and on. I think it's just starting to come to it's own now. Opinions would be appreciated. It's mostly my odd tastes put together with some Mac OS X stylings. :p Firefox 1.0.x. The themes for Mac OS X that look any good with it are few and far between in which is why I had started this project.

Hey guys,

So I was removing my sim-card slot with a folded sewing needle. Unfortunately it seems to be broken, it doesn't just easily pop out. So I pushed the needle real hard inside the hole, and because the needle was folded, it somehow slipped "inside" the iphone. Kind of difficult to explain, but I really hope that it didn't break anything there! Everything seems to be working normally at least now though. Has this happened to anyone else before? Thank you a lot.

Sound cards, usb, firewire....Just wondering if I'm going to have to worry when I want to add stuff to my Mac

With an old G3 there should be plenty of literature. I'd be looking on the manufacturers' sites to see whether they support the OS you're running.

Also, the ebay ad says it has a PS/2 port, I think this is more likely an ADB port - I don't think any Mac has ever shipped with a PS/2 port.

I purchased one from ifixit.com brand new about 6 months ago and it died a couple weeks ago. I went back today and they have none in stock. I checked on eBay and they have after-market ones that look like they will do more harm then good. Is there anyone else that sells apple parts?

I have a GeForce 4 MX, by default, and the 4MX has 64 MB RAM not 32 as stated above. For the latest games its quite good:
Warcraft3: 1280 res all details: great!
UT: even 1600 res all details is still cool, but resolution overkill IMHO
Q3: 1280 all details: couldnt be much better
Black&White: 1024 all details: does its job really good. Dont know if UT2003 will still be good with that card, but it should.

Yeah, the PC has games as dogs have fleas, but to the Mac come only the cream of the crop games :D
I dont even miss CS...!

Flarestorm (http://linkage.white-void.net/files/macosx/), the oh-so-very-nearly-finished PSX emulator has gone open source, with SDK and sources available at the given link. If anyone proficient in Japanese would care to translate when this actually happened, you're free to do so ;)

Now, to build the thing - the source is 6 months newer than the binary last available...
