I think, too many documents not required. The US Embassy in Delhi asks for:
If you have a sponsor for your trip
-- An Affidavit of Support, I-134 Form from your sponsor (a close relative), and also their bank statements and employment letter
-- A copy of the passport of your sponsor in the U.S. Preferably, a copy of the relative's Indian passport, if possible
-- Documents to show the sponsor's legal status in the U.S.

Just like EAD filing, one can send as many documents as required, but I sent only things asked in e-filing (refer to http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showthread.php?t=18737).

Hello all,
Could someone who are recently travelled via London Heathrow, please let me know what all should be done in order to obtain the DATV visa?
My flight stops there for under 2 hours (for cleaning and refuelling), and I was told I need to get the DATV since my visa expired and my approved AP alone is not enough.
Though I have gone through the required websites, i would still appreciate info from any one who recently experienced getting the DATV and travelling via London. Do I need to send I-485 receipt notice original and EAD as well?
Or is it enought to send the online application, passport, photo and AP originals?
Is there anyway to do everything in person, including handing over documents?
Also, it would be great if you could let me know how long it took to get the visa and your documents back!
Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

My first FP was done in July 2007. I have not yet received second FP notice. Normally USCIS sends second FP notice after 15 months. Is someone else like me?

The past couple days, I've had this very strange experience. Several of the affected people GREATLY appreciate the efforts being done by ImmigrationVoice and strongly support us (by words). This is all good encouragement. But for monetary contribution, even though the promise is made, they want to take some time to think about it.
Now, Think about what?? If this was some kind of an ad campaign or a puppet show, I did understand. The bottomline is either we get support from affected folks and stand a chance by involving lobbyist, media etc with full force, OR we just keep busting our butts and no money comes up, and we will be where we are 2 years from now.
There are some more folks that contributed SOME money and said they are willing to contribute again later. Fair enough. Only issue is we are running against the clock. It would be a pity if we get all the support in the world a little too late.
My guesstimate is that there are about 350K to 400K people affected by retrogression. As of yesterday, around 50 people have come forward with monetary contribution for the cause. Even though we have done progress by collecting about $8,500, this isn't cutting it. I am hard pressed to understand why affected people prefer to just wait and pray for the best, rather than taking the bull by the horn and try your best.
In our presentations to the lawmakers, we say, EB workers add so much value to the economy and have so much to contribute to this country. How about contributing something for ourselves for once? then maybe you'll have a chance to do the aforementioned contributions!!
I hope people don't regret not helping when the window was atleast slightly open, after it has been shut on their faces. Come May/June, election activities take precedence, don't expect anything to happen second half of this year.

2- Approximate I-485 and I-140 processing times from filing date for EB2

This is clearly a case of pharma companies wanting to make more money. My question is, why target only immigrants? There is something fishy here. I dont buy their argument. Fuck the green card. I'm not putting my wife through this shit. The sad part is that everything is commercialized in USA. Dont bring it upon your health. You mean to say even the priority date is not transfered from eb3 to eb2 I140 and if the priority date is current ( for example, eb3 date was March 2005 and eb2 date was 2008, and now the eb2 date is current as it passed eb3 March 2005 ).
A) In the above situation, can some one do the interfile?
B) Is that possible to port the date from eb3 I140 to eb2 I140 if the eb3 was approved using substitute labor?

Why dont you consult Prashanthi Reddy who is one of the Attorney's that answers IV Conference calls. Her consultation seems to be quite reasonable to my knowledge. ofcourse check with her anyway the consultation price. Also check with Shusterman, etc.

Employer says he can file only 485 and no EAD for me. But he can file EAD/AP for my wife.
Can I file EAD/AP for me separately on my own? What are the consequences from my employer if I quit after six months of applying 485 (by that time I would've got my EAD/AP)? Can he reject my 140 and/or 485?
Yes It applies to new employer as well.

Changed job to another employer on 05/2005 using EAD
got married, couldn't file for wife's GC
