I just found that Aspen University is offering online MBA at $3600 (end to end) + books.
The univ is accredited by DTE but not sure about its market value.

I am thinking about low cost MBA and the options (apart from newly discovered super low cost Aspen) are --
University of South Dakota (USD) (18 K)
&
University of Massachusetts (UMass) (30 K)

Does any one know if USD has a decent market value ?

again no one can explain the ridiculous date movements by DOS...so there can be no reason for this..Its just that someone saw numbers being wasted...and they randomly applied them to EB2...Now as for getting approvals for all those that are current now...forget it ...since that is USCIS and that is a whole different Animal (a lazy one!!)

The visa numbers reported as used for FY 2009 is 141,020 from http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/FY09...ort_TableV.pdf

This was the response i got from Ron Gotcher.

"The employment based category is entitled to use the "unused" family based numbers from the previous year. Last year, the quota for EB was the base of 140,000, plus another 13,000 shifted over from FB. Unfortunately, the CIS failed once again to approve enough cases to use up the entire available quota."

Would you mind asking source/link for "another 13,000 shifted over"?

As per this link - family based numbers were totally used up for FY2008

Family based visa used for FY2008 = 226,105 against 226,000 available.


I think it is important to understand and read what is being said.

Question on AOS processing based on PD/RD - Currently, EB2 INDIA is Dec 03. Assuming May 08 VB goes to Jan 03 (EB2 INDIA) , will the EB2 INDIA AOS applications with Feb - Dec 03 PDs still get processed??

Any chance of EB2 India moving forward to April 05 by October 2008??

Why not july 2006??

It's sad that such a thing happened if it ever happened. The POE officer definitely is going out of his jurisdiction to deny entry to the H1B person. Personally i never had any issues while entering US from Newark,NJ POE. The last time i entered the only question he asked me was "who makes more money, you or your wife" and the officer was very friendly and cracked some jokes as well.

So i have to question the validity of such news if it's coming from a third-party.

From ,
1. In Fy08, there were 189 EB2 India approvals.
2. Assume annual quota for Eb2 India is X (Correct me if i'm wrong but i think this equates to 2800?)
3. So 189 approvals = 2800 actual approvals. A ratio of 6.75%.

Upto Dec31, 03, there are still about 330 or so pending Eb2 India cases. Using the 6.75% representation, it would mean that there are about 4900 Eb2 India cases pending.

NOT EVERYONE REGISTERS AT THESE POS SITES. lol
C'mon be realistic.

what does this mean?

It means you can not use EAD as a travel document to reenter to U.S. You should have valid Visa for reentry.

any way .. my thinking is that since you have already gone thru other earlier stages and they check things at that shatte also so ..at yr 485 stage..you shud be good..so relax and njoy donot worry and also even if you worry...nothing is going to change so relax and make your family also relax as your tension will pass on to them as well...

Just njoy and be happy as I have realised being happy wards off many unwanted things which we never know might have come our way due to being depresssed...

Wow. I see a lot of EB-3 are pre-2005 (pre-PERM). Same poll for EB-2 shows most approvals are in PERM period.

Me also is EB-3 India Jun 2004. I-140/485 filed and pending.
